Important 2010 Dash Details

The event start is in Downtown Glendale, in front of the Alex Theatre at 216N Brand Blvd. Parking for the event is available at the Orange Street Garage (corner of Orange & California) and the Marketplace Garage (corner of Maryland & Harvard).

About the Glendale Downtown Dash

Stroke is the 2nd leading cause of death in the San Fernando Valley and the leading cause of adult disability in America. With that in mind, Glendale Adventist has teamed up with the Downtown Glendale Merchants Association to bring you the Glendale Downtown Dash - a 5k run/walk through the heart of Glendale.

The Dash offers a fun, family atmosphere that takes participants down Brand Blvd, through the Americana and back up again. 100% of the proceeds from this event support GAMC Stroke Services for our community. Through community lectures, screenings and new technology for only Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center in Glendale, we can help fight this deadly and disabling condition.

Join us for the 2010 Downtown Dash with new features:

• An official warm-up race for the LA Marathon
• Timing chips from PRIME TIME for faster results
• A new Kiddie Mile Fun Run available for participants under 13

• A Family Fun Bike Ride - a non-competitive bike ride taking place after the Dash
